Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival 2017 - The Art of Distilling

Speyside Distillery Sssssh….One of Speyside’s Best Kept Secrets!
Come and discover the secret of Speyside Distillery,  a small, hand- built, artisan distillery nestled amongst the beautiful Cairngorm Mountains. The distillery is not open to the general public but we are opening our doors for the 2017 Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival to welcome a limited number of guests. Although almost hidden from view, the distillery may look surprisingly familiar to many, as it featured (as Lagganmore distillery) in the popular BBC series “Monarch Of The Glen”.
The most southerly in the Speyside region, and closest to the source of the River Spey, the distillery has been producing spirit since 1990, and now produces the “SPEY from Speyside Distillery” range of single malts.
Your Art of Distilling Tour includes a tour of the distillery, the Harveys of Edinburgh Whisky heritage room (dates back to1770) and a Question & Answer session with our distillery Manager Sandy Jamieson with over 37 years of experience.  You can participate in a nosing and tasting of four specially selected SPEY single malt expressions. This truly is a unique opportunity to be amongst the exclusive few to visit our boutique distillery.
